In June 2020, Devotra signed two contracts with the Ministry of Education and Sports for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Training Equipment and Accessories for Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK) under the Albertine Region Sustainable Development Project (ARDSP).

The first containers of Lot 1 arrived the 27th of May 2021 at the UPIK and we started with the installation the day after. Meagan Simon, Operations Manager, and Eric Engola, our representative for Uganda, were present to guide the process from delivery to final acceptances. On the 6th of June 2021, we started offloading the containers of Lot 2.
After two and a half weeks, all items under the two lots were installed and commissioned. On the 13th of June 2021, the training kicked off. Unfortunately, due to changing corona measures, the training only continued for 7 days. Luckily, thanks to the highly skilled UPIK lecturers and our local team of engineers, this was enough to provide in-depth training on all items. The final acceptances were signed on the 20th of June 2021.
