Recently Devotra is contracted by UNIDO for the project PROFORME in Ivory Coast. This project is financed by the European Union that supports the vocational training of the youth in Ivory Coast. The overall objective of the project is the professional integration of the trainees. The training system will then contribute to improving the performance (productivity and competitiveness) of economic operators, private and public, thanks to the competences acquired by the trained when they integrate or create a job. It will also contribute to the improvement of the social situation of those trained in the national system of technical and vocational training.
A part of the project concerns equipping the workshops of 13 Vocational Training Centers (VTC) throughout the country. Devotra is contracted to the supply, installation, commissioning and training on the use and maintenance of the workshops equipment for Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering to 10 VTCs.
In preparation of the order an international team of Devotra conducted a thorough site survey to all VTCs to prepare the order, in January. On site the infrastructure and workshops were inspected if they could accommodate the ordered goods. After the visit we listed some recommendations and discussed these with UNIDO staff in their office in Abidjan.
With this information we are now processing the order and the planning the logistics for the deliveries in April / May 2018.
