On 4thMarch 2019 the official Bid Opening of the KEFEP Project in Kenya took place in the Bidwood Hotel in Nairobi. The bid opening committee consisted of delegates of MOE, CICan and consultants of Devotra and all made sure that everything went smoothly during this formal event.
All bidders could deliver their bids in time and in good order and the bids were opened in presence of all attendees. All went according to the tender instructions and procedures.
After this bid opening, a first conformity check was held on the received bids and a start was made with the financial en technical evaluation. The team of procurement consultants, consisting of among others Ronald Simon, Zack Wanambwa and CICan representatives, spent 5 days to see if the offers complied with all requested tender terms and conditions using special check lists for this purpose.
