The Minister of Technical Education, Professional Training, Employment and Labor, Mr Damatang Albert Camara, requested Devotra to organize a study tour from 2 to 9 July 2017 in The Netherlands. Two high level staff members, Mr Mamady Alkady Cherif, Chef de Cabinet and Mr Yalamon Pé Thea, Chef de Service National des Infrastructures Equipements et Maintenance, visited us for further exploration for a turn-key solution for two new to build Regional Vocational Training Centers.
The ministry is interested in creating and equipping modern training centers, including the Smart Classroom for a TVET teaching and learning concept, combining state-of-the-art technologies, software, simulations, experiments and hands-on practical education, making the new Regional Training Center future proof.
During this week we have visited some Technical Training Centers in The Netherlands and Germany in which we could show and demonstrate the modern way of professional education. Furthermore we visited some knowledge centers, such as Innovam, and some partners, Festo Didactic SE (G), Vynckier Tools NV (B) and Cayambé Education (F) with whom , amongst others, we can create a turn-key solution.
Besides the modern equipment and tools, the guests were also very impressed by the way the German and Dutch education systems are connected to the industry. The goal of the ministry is to lower the number of unemployed young people, by making professional education more attractive by offering better internship possibilities to achieve real practical skills. The German Dual System and the BBL system in the Netherlands have their interest to offer best practical experience for their students.
