October 2015 Devotra shipped complete practical training workshops to Haiti for 2 vocational training centres at Cap Hatien and Jeremie. The project is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank and specialized training equipment has been supplied for; Building, Construction, Woodworking and Textile/Garment making. It concerns a turn-key project that includes; the supply of equipment, installation, commissioning and training of teachers. Mid-January 2016 the engineers of Devotra BV together with our local representative Mr. Sergio Valkenburg and our local partners for the installation, commissioning and training have started to install the equipment. After successful installation a thorough training program was conducted to provide the teachers with the relevant skills on how to operate and to maintain the equipment. Some tailor made courses where designed that also included actual production of goods.
