Ever since the Paris Agreement, Ukraine has set itself in a position as a leader in terms of innovation in the sphere of energy efficiency and sustainability. On behalf of Devotra, Mr. David Hovanesian visited Kiev, Ukraine from December 6th to December 12th to join Devotra’s Ukraine representative, Ms. Olena Tkach on a mission to introduce Devotra’s expertise in the field of education and training projects, United Nations business and explore opportunities to get involved in the numerous development projects in Ukraine.
Mr. David Hovanesian and Ms. Olena Tkach combined their expertise to visit various Ministries, Agencies and UN companies to discuss the overlap between the wide array of goods and services that Devotra can offer and the current demand in Ukraine. Moreover, they have looked at opportunities for Devotra to work with local companies who are active suppliers in the same sphere.
During this week, Ms. Olena Tkach and Mr. David Hovanesian have had 10 meetings which include Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, Ministry of Regional Development, State Agency of Energy Efficiency, Centre of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production, FAO, and UNDP.
